Biography

Shingo is one of Japan’s living golf legends, with 29 career victories under his name. Twenty years after turning professional, the charismatic Japanese star showed he could still win golf tournaments with a popular triumph at the 2015 Mitsui Visa Taiheiyo Masters. He has topped the Japan Money List five times in 2000, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2008 and currently ranks sixth on the career wins list. Has two top-five finishes in the Majors as well, 2001 PGA Championship and 2009 Masters Tournament. He earned his place in Team Asia through the World Rankings.
