Biography

Despite approaching the age of 50, the ever-green Prayad is one of Thailand’s most successful golfers with nine victories on the Asian Tour. He claimed his latest victory at the 2015 Queen’s Cup and won his fifth career title on the Japan Tour as well at the 2015 Fukushima Open which ultimately earned him a captain’s pick for the 2016 EurAsia Cup. He learned to play golf in Hua Hin as he had to walk through a golf course daily to get to school and his first club was made with bamboo and a piece of scrap metal.
