Biography

Arjun made history by becoming the first Indian golfer to win on the US PGA Tour at the 2010 Wyndham Championship. He was also the first Monday qualifier to win a tournament in 24 years in the US. His victory secured him an invitation to the 2011 Masters Tournament, making him only the second Indian after Jeev Milkha Singh to play in the year’s first Major at Augusta National. After a four-year lapse, Arjun returned to the winner’s circle with a victory at the 2014 Dubai Open, saying winning felt even better than his US triumph due to the uncertainty in his career following injuries. It was his first win in Asia since his play-off triumph at the Maybank Malaysian Open in 2008. He won the Asian Order of Merit in 2003 following two victories that season.
